 SHTIVELBERG VICTOR
Was born in 1960 in Odessa, Ukraine. He graduated from the Institute of Graphical Arts in Odessa. Since 1987 he has participated in more than 20 one-man shows and over 60 various group
exhibitions in Europe, America, Japan and Israel. His works are represented in various private collections in USA, Canada, Israel, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Lithuania and Russia. In 1993 he became a member of "International Association of Art". He lived and worked a long time in Israel in Zfat. Today he lives in Germany. Realism is the basic ingredient of his painting, but everybody sense the presence of mystic,inner spirit. Victor creates his own strange and attractive world with images that live according to the rules of the reality of this world. Traditionaly they would be terrible or comical, but in reality they create sympathy and desire to get into the mystery of their nature. It is neither realistic nor surrealistic, but Victor´s unique world that hardly fits to any existing painting styles. Over the years he has developed a brilliant, mature and individual color pallet, which he manipulates with a great mastery.
