BARATYNSKY ANATOLY


Was born in Ufa (Russia) in 1962. Started painting and participated in many exhibitions throughout the Russia. In 1988 graduated from the Magnitigorsk Pedagogical Institute, Art Department. Became member of the Artists Union of the former USSA. Immigrated to Israel in 1991. Lives and works in Jerusalem. From 1992 became member of the Irael branch of the International Artists Association.
His awards:
1996 - The Ish Shalom Prize, Israel.
1997 - "Certificate of Merit" Art Addiction International Gallery, Stockholm.
1998 - Diploma First International Art Annual "Masks in Venice", Italy.
2003 - Medal and Diploma, Tatra Art Museum of Poprad, Slovakia.
His works can be found in:
Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in Paris, Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in Jersey City (USA), Tatra Art Museum of Poprad (Slovakia), Museums in Ufa and Chelyabinsk (Russia), Natural History Museum in Jerusalem and in private collections in France, England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada, Russia and Israel.
From 1989 he shown 15 solo-exhibitions in Ufa (Russia), Moscow, Oslo, Bonn, Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. His last but one one-show has been in USA (Art Gallery. Charlotte, NC). The painter also participated in 16 group exhibitions.
