Was born in Petersburg, Russia, in 1961. Graduated from the High Art College by V.I.Muhina and later - from icon masterclass of S.I.Golubev.Worked as icon painter and restorer. In 1996 moved to Israel. Worked for private orders. In 1998 opened her own gallery in Artist Colony, Zefat. Licka works in two dimensions, which appears to be contrary at first glance. From one hand - this is abstractions, free collages, decorative works with fabrics; from another hand - she applies the old techniques like: egg tempera and encaustic (wax painting of ancient Egypt). But indeed, there is no contradiction for the artist.Licka freely integrates the times and techniques, mixing even encaustic with photografs, combining the times and traditions in one endless stream of art. Despite the broad scope of genres, her works are always recognizable. One can sense the living pulsatiuon of time in her paintings, where the symbols are concrete, and details are symbolic.
