Here the Cyrenaean helps Jesus to Carry the Cross.
Adoramus te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi. Quia per sanctam crucem tuam redemisti mundum.
As they led Jesus away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. (Luke 23, 26)

No servants is greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. (John 15, 20)

Via Dolorosa (Latin for "Way of Grief") is a street in the Old City of Jerusalem. Traditionally, it is held to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion, although this is uncertain. It is marked by nine of the fourteen Stations of the Cross. The last five stations are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
